    About This Opportunity

    InComm recently purchased an Enterprise Master Data Management program.  We are currently in the process of implementing this new EMDM application (Informatica) and will need EMDM Data Test Analyst to join the Enterprise Data Management team.  This is a key role to the EMDM implementation as there are activities on the project plan slotted for May/June timeframe that this role will be responsible for completing.

     

    The EMDM Data Analyst  II will contribute to the planning and execution of an Enterprise Master Data Management (EMDM) implementation and on-going support, as well as, other strategic initiatives as they arise.   The immediate responsibilities listed below will be in support of formulating the Enterprise Master Data Management Program.  This role is assigned tasks in the implementation project plan for the May/June timeframe.

     

    Primary immediate responsibilities:

    • Create and execute test plan in accordance to defined business requirements
    • Assist with match rules tuning for party and product data
    • Create and execute test scripts
    • Troubleshoot why a rule has failed
    • Work with data profiles
    • Write SQL queries

     

    Required skills:

    • 2-4 years of Data experience
    • Previous MDM
    • Data quality and testing experience
    • Strong analytic skills
    • SQL Query
    • Strong MS Excel

    Responsibilities

    In this role, the Data Analyst will contribute to the Enterprise Master Data Management (EMDM) Program by developing and executing data analysis to validate the desired master data management functionality compared to business requirements, as well as, create and maintain a reusable suite of test scripts. 

     

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Define and execute a comprehensive test plan based on EMDM requirements for each project phase
    • Create a test summary report with findings and recommendations
    • Create and maintain traceability documentation
    • Assist with match rules tuning for multiple domains
    • Conduct data profiling activities
    • Ensure data quality rules are being adhered to
    • Address data inconsistencies
    • Work with multiple departments on ensuring accurate interpretation of business requirements and data architecture

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in applicable field of study or equivalent experience
    • 2 – 4 years’ experience in master data management and related concepts
    • Solid understanding of relational databases concepts and the ability to write intermediate SQL queries
    • Self-motivated individual who can work well in a challenging, dynamic, and collaborative team environment
    • Attention to detail
    • Exposure to Data Warehouse/BI tools/SQL and related technologies
    • Experience with large transaction processing systems is a plus

    • Ability to combine business acumen with technical aptitude
    • Ability to effectively communicate to business partners on solution implementation and test strategies
    • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to make independent decisions
