    About This Opportunity

    The Product Manager III is responsible for developing & managing the development, pipeline, and evolution of the VanillaDirect product suite, a cash-in network of partners and retailers utilizing a token (typically a barcode or an encoded magnetic strip) to direct cash, collected at retail, to an underlying account.  The Product Manager III will be expected to write requirements, determine priorities, manage release schedules, monitor competitive offerings in order to develop and maintain a best-in-class product, and identify areas to innovate in order to remain a viable and relevant service offering. 


    • Identifying potential opportunities & applications in the open loop payment space and developing a strategy, with sales, to launch the entity on the VanillaDirect Load network.
    • Expand the swipe reload network beyond prepaid, to include the universe of DDA account loads (using a payment association such as Visa Direct), bringing merchants on board to launch traditional bank loads, leading the business development efforts to bring bank partners on board to subsidize and/or promote the ability to make cash loads into their DDA accounts using the InComm network.
    • Manage and grow other aspects and applications of the Visa Direct (or other selected) network to include disbursements, P2P from InComm-managed GPR programs, etc.
    • Proactively working with account management to identify areas of growth with existing partners and retailers, to include opportunities to promote the service and gain market share from competing networks.
    • Developing a plan with Retail Sales in order to gain preferential BIN routing from merchants who have direct connections to our competitors.
    • Initiating projects as necessary to load UPCs at retail POS, acquiring necessary test collateral, and working with Retail Sales to track these initiatives.
    • Responsible for identifying least-cost routing opportunities, and directing traffic accordingly.
    • Documenting internal reporting, processes, and procedures, striving to improve processes and gain efficiencies.
    • Facilitating relationship between InComm and the Retail Sales, Technical Sales, and Channel Solutions team regarding technical requirements and development.
    • Coordinating technical calls with partners and platform team; tracking the progress of new integrations and ensuring that deliverables are accounted for and met in a timely manner.
    • Troubleshooting any technical issues that arise and internal InComm resources to ensure maximum up-time and communicating impact to affected parties.
    • Conduct periodic reporting in order to monitor business performance to plan, and manage the business to exceed it.










    • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university, or equivalent in professional experience
    • Minimum 5 years of product management/account management/customer success experience, preferably from within the payments industry
    • Experience in managing technical relationships
    • Experience in managing a network of internal/external relationships with various stakeholders
    • Experience in product operations, documenting flows for various use cases based on customer needs and integration methods

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.


    Physical Environment:  The work is performed in a private stand long office or cubicle environment that is generally controlled by the employer.  Traditionally, the work environment is adequately ventilated and lit by natural light and florescent fixtures.  It contains standard office equipment and furniture and is free of non-work related objects and furniture.
