    Responsibilities

    The Product Development Manager III is responsible for managing all product development aspects of the VanillaDirect product suite including, but not limited to, managing engineering teams, sprints, and development projects, developing and maintaining a roadmap, leading customer integration activities, monitoring competitive offerings and identifying areas to innovate in order to develop and maintain a best-in-class product

    • Define, guide and execute the VanillaDirect product development strategy, to include rebuilding/migrating the existing third party platform and third party service providers to a solution with in-house hosting and development capabilities. 
    • Collaborate with product, sales, account management, marketing, finance and accounting to launch new product offerings and drive adoption.
    • Lead integrations with leading industry players to deliver differentiated product offerings and expand the VanillaDirect network.
    • Design and architect new API’s and integrations with external systems to launch new solutions.
    • Lead engineering teams on a day-to-day basis to build high quality products & technical services.
    • Define clear success metrics and supporting teams to achieve them.
    • Responsible for evaluating and vetting potential upgrades and exploring various options, internally and externally, to develop practical solutions.

     

     

     

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering, or related field required.  Master’s Degree strongly preferred. 
    • 5 years of project/product management experience in tech industry is required.
    • Track record of developing and launching new products in the fintech area.
    • Past experience working with leading bill payment solutions like Fiserv, ACI Worldwide, MasterCard RPPS, etc.
    • Demonstrated experience in managing geographically distributed Agile teams.
    • Experience in managing software development projects written in Ruby on Rails and Go.
    • Practical knowledge of AWS ecosystem. Having AWS Business Professional accreditation is a plus.
    • Experience analyzing data in SQL and Amazon QuickSight.
    • Valid Project Management Professional certification is desired.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Atlassian Confluence and Jira.
    • Fluency in Ukrainian is highly desirable, to converse with engineering teams.
