    About This Opportunity

    InComm Digital Solutions is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to help craft automated testing solutions that enable rapid delivery of high quality software. You’ll be working alongside first-class agile development teams in an energetic environment. Your primary objective will be delivering clear assessments of software quality in the shortest possible cycle time by building and supporting testing framework, tests, and test tools with API and GUI-based test automation frameworks using JavaScript (Angular/Protractor) and NodeJS.



    • Enhance and extend the NodeJS automation framework by fixing flaky tests, adding coverage where needed, building functionality for the testers and developers to use, and evaluating additional third-party or open source tools
    • Add to our company’s performance and scalability testing efforts, both by executing tests and by helping to direct the validation of major product changes with performance impact
    • Write specialized testing tools for use in testing our software platform as needed
    • At times, act as a member of a cross-functional product team in an agile environment
    • Occasional pair-programming/mobbing on new features and defect fixes
    • Contribute to overall QA automation strategy and design of tools/frameworks
    • Occasional exploratory testing to understand the system under test and discover bugs
    • Contribute to white-box testing by performing code reviews on important components, including reviews of unit tests
    • Represent the QA perspective in architectural discussions and decisions
    • Contribute to the Continuous Delivery effort by helping to validate and deliver internal CI tools


    • 5+ years of experience (minimum) in QA and Test Automation
    • Excellent troubleshooting skills to determine the root cause of complex issues
    • Demonstrated skill using code repositories, preferably Github
    • Experience implementing automated testing of RESTful APIs
    • Passion for continuing education and personal development

    Extra Credit

    • Experience with CI tools such as Teamcity, Jenkins, and Artifactory Bonus
    • Experience with SQL, C# and .NET
    • Knowledge of JavaScript, NodeJS, and PowerShell
    • Demonstrated skill in testing enterprise distributed systems and microservices
    • Experience with browser automation libraries like Selenium, Protractor and Cypress
