    Accounting Manager to be responsible for providing overall management, effectiveness and leadership for the general ledger including the daily accounting activity, coordination of the month-end close process and coordination and annual financial audit. 

    • Coordinate and manage month-end close process resulting in the accurate and timely recording of income, expenses and changes in assets and liabilities in accordance with GAAP
    • Provide strong leadership during changing environments to accounting team and cross-functional groups
    • Manage accounting team and daily accounting activities in areas including general ledger
    • Review and approve account reconciliations, financial analysis and other accounting documents
    • Assist Chief Financial Officer in evaluating and implementing improved internal controls and streamlined processes and procedures
    • Prepare and maintain a current accounting policies and procedures manual
    • Administer annual external audit process including providing requested schedules and documentation
    • Establish and facilitate cross-functional collaboration to enhance accounting, control, financial and operational support
    • Spearhead project management and administrative support for accounting/control process integration relative to business acquisitions
    • Manage multiple on-going projects as well as ad-hoc requests
    • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned


    • CPA preferred
    • 10+ years experience 
    • Big 4 public accounting audit background preferred
    • Prior people management experience with very hands-on management style
    • High energy self starter with the ability to take initiative with minimal guidance
    • Comfortable working both as an individual and on a team
    • Must be a team player with the ability to maintain a positive attitude in an extremely fast-paced environment
    • Excellent leadership qualities and interpersonal skills
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Very strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong PC skills, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables) and Microsoft Access.
    • Oracle Financial Management accounting software experience (Version R12) strongly desired.
    • Knowledge of accounting for capitalized software development costs a plus
    • Ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure in a high-volume and changing environment
    • Ability to cultivate a positive team atmosphere in order to drive success
