    About This Opportunity

    We are looking for a positive, collaborative and experienced Scrum Master to join our Prepaid & Alternate Payments technology team. The individual in this role would be responsible for overseeing our software development team and working under the agile methodology. We are seeking a candidate who has proven leadership skills, the ability to think critically and problem-solve, and a track-record of ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Be a true servant leader, coaching the team(s) in self-organization and cross-functionality
    • Facilitate daily scrums, stand-ups, and meetings to monitor project progress and resolve any issues the team may be experiencing
    • Work to remove blockers so that the team(s) can operate efficiently
    • Guide the Product Owner to sustain the Product Backlog and maximize value
    • Contribute to the resolution of wider organizational impediments that impact the team(s)
    • Shape team behavior through excellent management via the agile method
    • Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem solving.
    • Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
    • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, application users, and program owners
    • Document progress and communicate to upper management and stakeholders

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field required
    • 3-5  years of experience in information technology (IT) project management required
    • Demonstrated experience playing the Team Facilitator/Scrum Master role across multiple teams within an agile environment applying agile / lean principles, practices, and theory
    •  

      KSA (Knowledge; Skills; Abilities):  

       

    • Scrum Master certification preferred
    • Must possess leadership skills and experience
    • Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Must possess the ability to explain intricate and complicated concepts and ideas
    • Must possess the ability to work well with many different kinds of people, departments, and divisions
