    About This Opportunity

    The Columbus Fraud team strives to provide excellent customer service to our consumers on a daily basis by assisting with fradulent transactions on their pre-paid accounts.  We work diligently to ensure we are promoting customer advocacy by resolving all claims within the shortest timeframe possible.  In addition, the Fraud team works as an advocate for Incomm by preventing Fraudulent claims.  This is accomplished by working together in team atmosphere.


    As Incomm grows, the Fraud department grows as well with plenty of opportunity for advancement.   We capitalize on growing team members by providing hands on training and support.  



    Fraud Analyst II reviews potential fraudulent accounts for the prevention and detection of possible Transaction Fraud and Identity Theft and will take appropriate action based on transaction characteristics and account changes with indicators of complex issues related to possible Identity Theft. Experience is gained through training, following established procedures and guidelines and research utilizing multiple systems and tools. Responsible for moderately complex research and analysis of account activity to assess levels of risk and fraud type. Takes appropriate corrective action through customer phone contact to verify legitimate usage. Provides review and analysis of risky or exception conditions.  Is responsible for developing and maintaining strategies to detect fraud internal & external (in the field supporting current events/investigations). Responsible for identifying fraud trends and opportunities for improvement, perform data mining and analysis to develop and improve fraud strategies, and measure and control existing strategies.  Needs to build adequate controls and process discipline to mitigate losses while focusing on improving customer experience and managing operational cost.


    Assist in the development and implementation of detection and prevention strategies that help mitigate fraud losses while ensuring an appropriate balance between risk and reward.

    • Manage the manual fraud review of high-risk orders, processes.
    • Conduct card activity monitoring on all Incomm Financial, 3rd Party, Wireless, Mobile, Gift Card products.
    • Canada Consumed, Dispute management including inquiries, and pre-arbitration requests.
    • Kount event management including chargebacks, disputes, inquires and pre-arbitration requests.
    • Perform due diligence on new corporate products, internal process and customer procedure.
    • Fraud & Sale data collection and reporting.



    -Good PC skills using MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook (demonstrated proficiency).

    - Ability to work within a team (team player).

    - Ability to read and understand regulations.

    - Excellent attention to detail.

    - Self-starter with the ability to work on multiple task (multi-task, prioritize tasks and work under pressure) with minimal direct supervision.

    - Ability to communicate orally and in writing, ideas, concepts, recommendations, and complex information clearly and concisely in a timely manner, at a level consistent with the audience

    - Ability to analyze situations and issues, identify options, draw logical conclusions and sound inferences, determine and recommend practical courses of action using innovation, creativity, good judgment and strategic thinking.

    - Excellent organization, oral and written communication skills.


    Position Requirements:

    This is a shift position and since we are 24/7 the Analyst could be asked to work any of the three shifts to include weekends.

    • Note: Must be flexible to work overtime, after-hours & holidays when required

    Education Requirements:

    College degree or equivalent work experience in a related field
