    About This Opportunity

    Incomm is looking for an IT Vendor Relationship Manager to provide oversight required for IT vendor relationships.  This position is responsible for negotiating contracts for Hardware, Software, Data Centers, and Services including labor.  The ideal candidate will have experience with IT hardware and software pricing as well as contract negotiation.  You will have the opportunity to impact the business by negotiating contracts in addition to creating processes around scoring vendors to better track vendors and create cost savings for the business.  

    Responsibilities

    • Chief Negotiator for lowering prices on IT spend for Hardware (servers, network equipment, circuits, employee laptops), Software (VMWare, Oracle, Microsoft), Data Centers (both owned/leased and Co-Locations), and Services (SOW contract labor). 
    • Develop and Implement the Strategic Sourcing Engagement Model, which will rate vendors and provide lower costs for the same products. 
    • Manages the selection, acquisition, and monitoring of contractual agreements for hardware, software, and IT services for the enterprise.
    • Validate Statements of Work (SOW’s) for accuracy, term, price, and evaluate fix bid vs fixed price. 
    • Create and negotiate Service Level Agreements (SLA’s), Operational Level Agreements (OLA’s), Master Service Agreements (MSA’s), and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA’s). 
    • Create Vendor Scorecards including rate sheet pricing by functional roles by vendor. 
    • Develops, or assists in the development of Request for Information (RFIs), Request for Proposal (RFPs) and business cases.
    • Create an Decision Matrix for:  buy vs lease, insource vs outsource, make vs buy. 
    • Maintains contact with vendors to manage the status and quality of orders and the progress toward contractual commitments.
    • Follows up with IT management to ensure satisfaction with delivered products and services and addresses any problems or concerns.  All information will be updated in the Vendor Scorecard. 
    • Continually seeks optimal value in service from vendors, reviewing and monitoring performance and return-on-investment metrics and initiating contract modifications.
    • Creates new vendor relationships as needed to obtain the lowest Total Cost of Ownership. 
    • Automate current manual processes using Service Now workflow or PowerBI. 

     

    Qualifications

    • 5-15 years of related experience including vendor management.
    • 4 year college degree.

    • Vast background in Vendor Management/Relationship Management within IT. 

    • Strong negotiation skills and experience in negotiating enterprise level IT Vendor Contracts.
    • Nice to have:  ITIL, CSM, PMP, Six Sigma.
