    About This Opportunity

    InComm is seeking a Technical Systems Analyst to join our Transaction Processing team. The TSA will report directly to the Manager I, Core Transaction Processing. This is a team of 3and is currently growing!

     

    This team is the platform owner for all core transaction processing application suites. This Technical Systems Analyst should have a combination of application support as well as business analysis and/or project coordination skills. You will be focused on environment maintenance, builds, and patches but, will also be responsible for document.


    The Platform Ownership, Transaction Processing team works very closely with the development team to support these applications and troubleshoot code. The ideal candidate should have experience with the following:

    • Application support (not supporting packages)
    • Infrastructure – health of the platform
    • Working application service, builds, and deployment
    • Strong database skills (SQL)
    • Installing applications
    • Understanding of Networking (load balancers)
    • High availability
    • 24/7 on-call support (rotation)
    • Previous transaction processing experience is a plus

    Responsibilities

    • Research and resolve escalated issues in a timely manner
    • Actively participate in application deployments into production, including verification
    • Attain knowledge of all operational and maintenance activities, identifying potential impacts to related systems/software
    • Continuously monitor the platform for operational excellence. Track overall transaction system health and reliability. Identify and propose improvements and track progress upon implementation.
    • Create and maintain platform documentation, including a platform diagram, to assist in identifying and eliminating single points of failure
    • Provide after-hours coverage/escalation, when needed

    Qualifications

    • 2-3 years of experience
    • Proficient with MS Office Suite
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • MS SQL query skills
    • Experience with Java and Java scripting preferred 
    • Experience with system monitoring tools (Splunk and Wireshark preferred)
    • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, multi-tasking, prioritization, decision-making, and interpersonal interactions

     

     

    EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

    •  A bachelor's degree a plus but, not required.
