    About This Opportunity

    Incomm is looking for an Oracle Applications DBA II role to join our Oracle Solutions team.  The Oracle Solutions Team is a part of our Financial Information Systems (FIS) group.   The FIS group is responsible for providing analysis, development, process improvements, program management, and production support to our customers (Accounting & Finance) with Oracle Financials.  The Oracle Solutions team delivers solutions for business requirements, development, and database adminsitration. 

     

    The Oracle Apps DBA II will assist with the timely and accurate administration of applications and databases, as well as all delivered components/solutions, including infrastructure, for Oracle R12 E-business Suite (EBS) supported by FIS. The Oracle DBA is responsible for the day to day activities required to support the production, development and test environments. In addition, the Oracle Apps DBA is responsible for coordination with the Oracle Development & Production Support teams.

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Support Oracle Production Support team with Service-now help desk tickets
    • Good understanding of EBS R12.2 application architecture (including adop concepts, dual file system architecture, FMW concepts, PCP, concurrent managers, workflow, layout of application on infrastructure, etc.)
    • Knowledge in RAC to RAC/Non-RAC Cloning procedures and patching activities
    • Proven experience on Real Application Clusters 12c and ASM
    • Knowledge and understanding of Oracle Data Guard and Disaster Recovery concepts.
    • Oracle GoldenGate experience with good understanding of data replication topologies and concepts
    • Data Center Migration experience is a major plus
    • Working knowledge of Transparent Data Encryption and SSL technologies
    • Experience with Oracle EBS AD utilities including adop, adadmin, adctrl, adconfig etc
    • Daily health checks of all the Tiers of an EBS environment
    • Experience with core Oracle EBS technology (Apache, Forms, Java, Oracle Application Server, Oracle WebLogic, TLS configuration)
    • Good knowledge in RMAN and other backup strategies
    • Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager 13c
    • Performance tuning in complex Oracle environments at all levels (RAC, PCP, ASM etc.)
    • Must research and understand current technology necessary to meet the business needs.
    • Performance tuning of the database
    • Experience in working with data migration tools
    • Knowledge on Oracle products like Endeca and OBIEE is a plus
    • Backup and recovery of application servers and databases
    • Ensure proper procedures and documentation for compliance with internal and external auditing requirements.
    • Position requires 24x7 On Call rotation supporting both EBS and non-EBS environments

    Qualifications


    Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science
    • Minimum of 5 Years hands-on experience as an Oracle Applications DBA working with Oracle EBS R12
    • Oracle Certifications are a plus
    • Good customer service experience

    • Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively interface with internal/external customers 
    • Ability to work independently and resolve complex problems
