    About This Opportunity

    The Enterprise Security Systems Engineer is responsible for the analysis, integration and deliver of InComm security systems. This role will work in conjunction with IT and other organizations to deliver security solutions. This will include engineering of people, processes and technology in support of security operations.

    Responsibilities

    • Capable of system design in support of security countermeasure deployments including firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Malware, HSM (Hardware Security Modules) and Antivirus platforms
    • Fully document all incidents, review for trends, pro-actively identify chronic problems.
    • Trend issues and monitor changes to ensure that known issues do not become chronic.
    • Work with problem management to prioritize incidents based on impact and urgency
    • Work with the 24x7 Security Operations Center (SOC) handling incoming security threat information or vulnerabilities
    • Build to the Security Operations processes and procedures and InComm Security Policies and Standards.

     

     

     

    Qualifications

    • 4 years' experience building and maintaining Security Operations Center (SOC) and data analytics
    • Experience with key management and HSM devices, ideally Thales or Atalla. 
    • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Information Technology/Information Security.
    • Experience with deployment and design of the following platforms: Splunk Enterprise Security, McAfee Nitro, Nitro Security, or Palo Alto is preferred.
    • Intermediate to expert knowledge of Cisco platforms, applications and systems.
    • Advanced to Expert Knowledge of Encryption and PKI systems.
    • Ability to work flexible hours and be available in an on-call rotation in a 24x7 environment.
    • Ability to effectively interface and communicate with IT resources, business contacts, and clients.
    • Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously, work in high-pressure situations and/or for extended hours
    • The ideal candidate has a advanced understanding of how IT components interact and depend upon one another including network systems, server systems, applications, databases, and storage systems.
    • ITIL Certification or experience preferred.
