    Quality Assurance Engineer with demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced work environment and proven success supporting IT departments for a complex technology-centric solution.  Strong testing methodologies and efficiencies as well as the ability to adapt and apply those sound testing fundamentals to changing requirements and situations is essential.  Ability to translate technical requirements into deliverable test cases and test scripts. 


    • Develops test strategies/plans, test cases and test scripts for client/server systems based upon business requirements and processes, in line with defined work-flows and use cases
    • Creates SQL queries to set up test data and maintains technical understanding of all interface points of core business/systems and processes
    • Ability  to  translate  technical  requirements  and specifications   into deliverable  test cases/scripts and analyze logs
    • Performs Functional, System and Regression testing
    • Communicate quality issues and risks to the software development teams and technical leaders
    • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
    • Work with multiple application development, architecture and network teams, identifies, diagnoses, and reports on application issues
    • Provide engineering support for testing approach design and tools on projects of peers and junior associates
    • Working knowledge of SQL/Databases
    • Must possess a willingness and aptitude to embrace new ideas and master concepts rapidly
    • Ability to track multiple test executions simultaneously and be able to synthesize the results
    • Shows creativity and initiative to improve test quality and effectiveness
    • Assist with creating and performing repeatable testing procedures and processes



    • 4-5 years of experience with QA and/or application development
    • 2-3 of Automation testing experience
    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience with black box and white box testing
    • Minimum 2-3 years’ QA experience within the banking/financial industry
    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience using test management and issue tracking tools (e.g., Test Director, Bugzilla, Team Track, JIRA, TFS, etc.)
    • Minimum 2 yeas of experience working in iterative development (e.g., Scrum)
    • Strong oral and written communications skills
    • SQL experience
    • Excellent prioritization, time management/multi-tasking skills
    • Full SDLC experience; Agile experience preferred
    • Flexibility and adaptable to changing environments
    • Good written and verbal communication skills, team player
