    About This Opportunity

    Are you interested in being at the forefront of emerging, disruptive, or transformative technology solutions that drive improved profitability, streamlined operations and/or expanded value to clients? If so, this highly visible role in the InComm Imagination Studio could be the right fit for you. As part of this team, you will support evaluation, development and piloting of various efforts currently in the innovation pipeline, as well as lead efforts to identify, assess and execute on additional game-changing ideas. In addition, you will lead efforts to develop product roadmaps commercialize.


    The ideal candidate is highly motivated, passionate, and a quick study with excellent collaboration and teambuilding skills; able to quickly establish credibility with business and IT leadership. This position is based at InComm’s Global Headquarters in Atlanta.


    • Structure and lead formal and informal Innovation meetings / sessions with the rest of the Imagination Team, playing a leading role in capture, refinement, evaluation and communication of new ideas and concepts
    • Contribute to innovation process design and evolution, while leading initiatives through assessment, experimentation and pilot implementations phases
    • Be an evangelist in the effort to actively develop Innovation capabilities across the organization
    • Lead execution of research, experiments and market tests to test key hypothesis, for chosen opportunities
    • Develop strong internal partnerships to achieve effective collaboration and integration of subject matter experts from intersecting / impacted business units
    • Assist in the development of best practices and training materials to be used when onboarding either full time team members or matrixed business unit resources into an innovation project
    • Actively participate in customer insights / market research throughout and initiative’s lifecycle
    • Ownership of competitive intelligence / SWOT analysis, as well as monitoring / assessment of market changes on conceived products / solutions
    • Apply knowledge of current business and operational challenges, along with industry trends / patterns, to influence the trajectory / scope of active innovation initiatives
    • Oversee preparation of reliable quantitative / qualitative analyses related to market size, business model analysis (increased revenues / reduced costs), scenario analysis and sensitivity modeling to assess feasibility of innovation ideas
    • Craft User Stories based on qualitative and quantitative data, and leverage these to communicate clearly and often with executive leadership, as well as across the enterprise, as to how execution of ideas will drive new business, delight customers, reduce costs, empower staff, etc.
    • Ability to critically evaluate the viability of innovation initiatives at all stages of development – and willingness to revamp, refine or trash efforts based on current knowledge / facts


    • Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills, with the ability to understand the business need and translating that to help create and then manage innovative concepts to solve these needs
    • Outstanding ability to synthesize and articulate both business and technical concepts
    • Comfortable working in a matrixed environment. Ability to work well independently and on a closely-knit team, with varying levels of guidance and direction
    • Flexibility and organizational skills to multi-task, juggle, and re-prioritize multiple projects and adapt to evolving stakeholder needs
    • Ability to engage with colleagues and contacts outside of the company (clients, industry experts, etc.) in an articulate, professional manner
    • Attention to detail and ability to deliver market-ready products within tight deadlines
    • Initiative to proactively solve problems and add value through close working relationships with internal and external project clients and thought leadership
    • Strong and enthusiastic relationship management skills
    • Strong, seasoned project management skills
    • Experience in software development, project leadership and business requirements gathering
    • Experience with storyboarding with wireframes.
    • Experience with process design and development.
    • 8+ years in project or product management experience is preferred.
    • BA/BS degree, Masters / MBA preferred
    • Experience working in an Agile environment
    • Strong business knowledge and understanding of retail systems and/or financial transaction processing operations.
    • Prior experience in prepaid, loyalty and/or credit / debit card business a plus
