    About This Opportunity

    This position is the focal point of development as well as to ensure operational excellence of the AirTIME Platform which services a set products (mainly Tracfone) of Incomm’s Prepaid Transaction. The Airtime platform includes components and transaction types that are very similar to the core InComm transaction processing system (TPS). In addition, there are self-service web apps that allow TracFone IT staff to alter processing configurations, such as data centers and “SAF-ing” frequency, troubleshoot, and investigate customer/product issues.



    • Support both the evolution and continued development of existing applications and the design and delivery of new applications in an agile environment
    • Implements complex prototypes and core base code for developers to follow
    • Create and present design solutions that have partial or system wide impact
    • Design, develop, deploy, configure, document and debug extensive enterprise systems, while properly escalating issues to meet deadlines
    • Apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development lifecycle, and ensure reuse of code
    • Lead small teams, e.g., Sprint Owner
    • Coordinate with QA for end to end unit testing and post production testing
    • Good understanding of Object Oriented Programming/Design principles including abstraction, inheritance, polymorphism and encapsulation 
    • Understanding of, and experience with, software development best practices 
    • Familiarity with open source application frameworks 
    • Effective verbal and written communication with clients in a business and technical manner
    • Problem solving skills and the ability to work with innovative solutions
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations and understand key issues quickly
    • Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make technical and team decisions and assumes responsibility for those decisions while keeping management informed


    •  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience
    • 7+ years’ experience with C, C++, VC++, C#, JAVA applications
    • Experience with progressive Java development experience including JSE, JEE in enterprise level scalable, distributed and fault tolerant environments. 
    • strong experience utilizing XML, HTML, VB Script, T-SQL
    • Proficient with MS Visual Studio, Office Suite and MS SQL Server queries & stored procedures 
    • Experience in developing Web Services (ex. RESTful or SOAP) 
    • Experience in Creating & Maintaining lower environments
    • Experience in Fluke, PingPlotter or equivalent network capture tools.
    • Experience participating in the full lifecycle of projects, including effective use of version control, build management, unit testing, and issue tracking software (ex. SVN, Maven, JIRA)
    • Experience reading and writing UML (Specifically class and sequence diagrams)
    • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
    • Experience with SOAP UI or Web Services
    • Experience with SQL Sentry Tool, Wireshark.
    • Experience with open source object relational mapping tools
    • Experience with system monitoring and profiling tools
    • Experience with various platforms like Windows server, Linux/Unix
    • Collaborate with QA testing in the research and writing of test cases along with participating in system testing. Experience using Queuing technologies like RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ etc
    • Writing extensive unit tests using automated TDD tasks
    • Creating e2e test suites for all components.
    • Creating configuration, build, and test scripts for Continuous Integration environments
    • Create complex SQL queries and understand SQL scripts
    • Familiarity with SPLUNK with ability to navigate log files
