    Responsibilities

    • Analyze, monitor and identify trends in product availability and inventory.  Utilize Retail Link reports to review and optimize inventory control and replenishment.
    • Recommend and implement process improvements to drive sales and cost savings.
    • Determine root causes of inventory exceptions, making adjustments to Walmart’s system to improve forecast accuracy.
    • Analyze Retail Link data to determine the root cause of store level out of stocks, develop plans to eliminate the out of stocks and implement the plan.
    • Make proactive adjustments to Walmart’s replenishment system to support promotional activity and seasonal spikes.
    • Work with Supply Chain to ensure Walmart’s priority logistical initiatives are met completely and on time.
    • Adjust Walmart system settings used to create order quantities, forecast profiles and lead-times.
    • Manage replenish-able inventory reserve, maintaining weekly inventory reports
    • Generate scripts for everyday replenishment, new product launches, and feature/tab orders.
    • Facilitate the demand planning process with Sales and Marketing to develop an accurate shipment and inventory procurement forecast.
    • Work with InComm account managers, category advisors, and project managers to coordinate new product launches, develop initial forecasts, and address supply chain concerns.
    • Ensure new items are set-up, forecasted, traited and replenishing properly.
    • Consult NAMs and Team Lead on sales, inventory issues and priorities.
    • Ad hoc sales & replenishment analysis.

    Qualifications

    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, related curriculum or equivalent work experience.
    • Minimum 2 years relevant replenishment or inventory analysis experience, preferably with a Walmart vendor.
    • Ability to analyze large amounts of data quickly and provide actionable recommendations.
    • Utilizes strong verbal and written communication skills; technical, analytical, decision making and problem solving skills to influence customer contacts.
    • Positive attitude and an ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, self-prioritizing work load in a fast paced, team-oriented work environment.
    • Ability to manage expectations and develop strong working relationships with customers both inside and outside the organization.
    • Deep understanding of forecasting to support the business plan evaluation.
    • Systems: Retail Link, Inforem/GRS, Excel, Access, Power Point, Word.
