    About This Opportunity

    We are seeking an experienced and hands-on End to End Delivery Manager with a strong technology background to join our team. As an End to End Delivery Manager, we’ll put your leadership skills to work helping individuals and teams accelerate delivery and speed to market our unique card products and services by understanding, using and mastering Scrum.



    In this role, you will provide ownership over multiple projects and support our growing business. As a leader within our Shared Services organization, you will be responsible for the delivery of projects utilizing our cutting edge technology. The role will require close collaboration with multiple project, executive, and external stakeholders for major programs and initiatives, specifically New Program / Product Development, Product Management, Technology, Business Development, Marketing, Compliance, GCO, and RIM.


    A successful candidate will own the project management of the end to end delivery journey for key projects and partnerships; other responsibilities include:

    • Manages integrated teams to deliver technology solutions in support of key product initiatives by working closely with product managers, architects, engineers, and QA teams
    • Works within and across business units to prioritize, plan, and execute the development schedule for major product releases
    • Manages and tracks status, financials, and other KPIs in relation to the plan and published progress reports
    • Assigns development resources to activities and monitors progress, performance across resource channels
    • Maintains dependency plan between planned sprints/work-streams across American Express Technologies (AET) development teams, infrastructure, external partners and third parties
    • Manages and escalates risks, issues, and changes tied to the product development initiatives
    • Applies judgment and discretion on when to raise issues versus work through issues with the team
    • Resolves issues precluding engineers from making progress against plans and deadlines
    • Ensures deliverables across technology teams are high-quality and clearly documented
    • Conducts planning sessions, daily stand-ups and retrospectives at the end of each planned unit of work, Scrum of Scrums, and ensures that the team is continuously learning from the past
    • Identifies opportunities to adopt innovative technologies and processes Lead the collaborative, dynamic planning process – prioritizing the work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of the team


    • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of project management experience
    • Superior organizational skills
    • Experience understanding technology solutions at an enterprise-level is preferred
    • Experience managing Agile, Scrum, or other rapid application development teams to deliver technology solutions on time, on budget, and to the scope
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills; Ability to effectively communicate across third parties and technical and business product managers
    • Good knowledge on E-commerce & Digital domains involving multiple third-party integrations
    • Strong in MS-Project
    • Strong in Agile project management tools
