    Business Intelligence – Projects involving dashboard development, standard and custom report development, data warehousing, data migration and data abstraction

     

    EMDM (Enterprise Master Data Management) – Master data migration into an enterprise master data management repository, development of master data tools and functionality to support enterprise billing and reporting

     

    IDM (Inventory Data Management) – Development of applications and tools to manage and generate product data

     

    This position will be reporting directly to the Manager, EDM Portfolio Management, Business Intelligence and will be managing BI related projects.

    Responsibilities

    • Partner with business leadership to clarify business goals and requests as they pertain to business intelligence
    • Document requirements and conceptual designs with customers (Internal and External)
    • Provide recommendations on how BI applications might enhance business decision making capabilities 
    • Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, translate business requirements to be easily consumed and acted upon by technical teams 
    • Work with technical teams to track development progress and ensure requirements are being met
    • Perform testing as needed to ensure all requirements are met by development teams
    • Assist customers with user acceptance testing as needed
    • Provide status updates on project requirements and scope to all levels of management as required

    Qualifications

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in applicable field of study 
    • 3+ years of experience in the field or in a related area
    • Proficiency with MS Office & Visio
    • Excellent communication skills, and ability to write in a clear and concise manner
    • Experience documenting use cases and/or user stories
    • Familiarity with Business Intelligence concepts, practices, and procedures a plus
    • Exposure to Data Warehouse/BI tools/SQL and related technologies a plus
    • Experience with large transaction processing systems a plus
