    We are currently seeking a  Project Manager, EDM for our EDM Portfolio Management Team.  The EDM Portfolio Management Team is a newly formed  team that is responsible for managing projects for the following groups:

     

    • Business Intelligence – Projects involving dashboard development, standard and custom report development, data warehousing, data migration and data abstraction
    • EMDM (Enterprise Master Data Management) – Master data migration into an enterprise master data management repository, development of master data tools and functionality to support enterprise billing and reporting
    • IDM (Inventory Data Management) – Development of applications and tools to manage and generate product data



    Responsibilities

    • Lead the planning and implementation of a project
    • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
    • Define project tasks with technical resources
    • Develop, manage and maintain project schedules
    • Work with resource managers to coordinate project staff and manage resource allocation
    • Manage project budget when applicable
    • Work with management to plan, schedule, and prioritize project timelines
    • Track project deliverables
    • Provide direction and support to project team
    • Monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders in a timely manner
    • Communicate project status to varying levels of management
    • Implement and manage project changes, risks and issues to achieve project outputs
    • Perform project evaluations and assessment of results

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in applicable field of study 
    • 3-5 years of experience in project management
    • Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
    • Moderate experience using MS Project
    • Moderate experience with MS Office & Visio
    • Experience with one or more of the following project management methodologies with a preference for Waterfall (Agile, RAD, Iterative and Waterfall)
    • Excellent communication skills, and ability to write in a clear and concise manner
    • Familiarity with Business Intelligence concepts, practices, and procedures a plus
    • Exposure to Data Warehouse/BI tools/SQL and related technologies a plus
    • Experience with large transaction processing systems a plus
    • PMP certification a plus
