    About This Opportunity

    The Space Planning Analyst is responsible for providing technical and analytical planogram support for several retailers. This will involve building fixtures in JDA, developing and maintaining planograms, and analyzing sales data to make optimization recommendations to sales teams.  This position will communicate with multiple departments and levels – and will need to be able to communicate clearly and respond effectively to all parties.


    • Responsible for timely execution of planning, analysis, development and maintenance of planograms and product assortments. 
    • Complete analysis and updates for two POG resets each year for assigned retailers.
    • Analyze SKU productivity on planograms for all categories and provide recommendations that identify potential opportunities to improve sales and productivity of space.
    • Conduct in-depth analysis of sales data, current business trends, category performance trends, demographics and merchandising strategy to provide recommendations.
    • Work with merchants and sales teams to develop planograms adjustments to optimize sales and margin performance.
    • Maintain planograms, making small changes as necessary throughout the year, for assigned retailers.
    • Update product library with new/updated products. Build new fixtures in JDA as necessary.
    • Recognize and react to gaps in the assortment when completing planograms.
    • Assist in solving store specific planogram and merchandising issues within established timeframes.
    • Assist in execution of testing, launches and edits.
    • Assist with creation and maintenance of internal training material.
    • Assist with sales analysis, such as determining which fixture types are most effective within a retailer, researching sales trends on products or categories, and other ad hoc requests.
    • Minimal travel may be required (to stores in metro Atlanta or to merchant headquarters to work with onsite fixtures).




    • 5 years of experience
    • Degrees, certifications required or special training:
    • JDA Certified
    • High School Diploma/ GED Required
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
    • Experience working in a manufacturing or retail environment
    • Customer service oriented
