    About This Opportunity

    This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing team within the accounting department at InComm. You will have the opportunity to work on critical business initiatives, from Merger & Acquisition activity to SEC filings, this person will work closely with the Director of Accounting, SVP, Accounting, CFO and other company executives on highly visible, mission critical accounting projects. 

    Responsibilities

    Job Description:

    • Assist in the identification and resolution of the Company’s technical accounting issues by providing well-documented technical accounting guidance and recommendations to management and various business division
    • Assist in the research and evaluation of transactions, legal contracts, business practices, and policies for compliance with accounting and reporting guidance
    • Analyze the Company’s complex, routine transactions to include revenue recognition of complex contracts, stock compensation accounting, lease accounting, and consolidation concerns
    • Provide leadership in the development of the Company’s global accounting policy and procedures manual
    • Develop written and oral presentations of the Company's technical accounting policies and training on technical accounting guidance
    • Interact with external auditors on technical accounting issues and assist in the support of all annual audits and quarterly reviews by legal entity
    • Assist in the development of company-wide accounting policies as well as their implementation
    • Prepare and manage the Annual Consolidated Financial Statements and related Notes to the Consolidated Financial Statements in the Company’s reporting software.
    • Manage Financial Statement Drafts and process for annual Financial Statement Filings.
    • Prepare quarterly Consolidated Financial Statements.

    Qualifications

     

     

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's Degree (BA) in Accounting or Finance from four-year college or university or higher
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience
    • Relevant industry accounting experience is a plus
    • Minimum of 4 years of public accounting experiences
    • In-depth understanding of US GAAP, with experience in a broad-scope of technical accounting areas, such as business combinations, contingencies, equity investments, debt, leases etc.
    • Strong ability to interpret GAAP guidance, to apply to real-life issues at hand, and to document accounting position in white papers methodically
    • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively to meet deadlines
    • Ability to effectively work within a team to expedite completion of critical projects
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Power Point. Experience with accounting ERP systems is a plus
