    Responsibilities

    • Port DB2 Database into Oracle DB.
    • Design and plan high quality database layer solutions using the Oracle database for Financial Services (FS) based on detailed business requirements
    • Be responsible for Oracle database architecture for Financial Services
    • Understand, analyze and document existing FS Oracle database layer implementations
    • Evaluate and recommend Oracle database solutions for security, PCI compliance, data encryption and performance
    • Research and assesses new Oracle technologies, and recommend appropriate implementation
    • Manage PL/SQL code and SQL script reviews for development teams
    • Enforce database architectural standards, coding/development standards and processes

    Qualifications

     

     

    • A degree in Information Technology or equivalent academic qualification
    • 7+ years of relevant experience using Oracle database technologies
    • DB2 DBA Adminstration Experience
    • Experienced in data modeling, data architecture and Oracle performance tuning
    • Experienced with Oracle technologies like DataGuard, Transparent Data Encryption, Virtual Private Database and advanced PL/SQL
    • Experienced in Linux environments
    • Oracle Development DBA experience a significant plus
    • Must possess the ability to work in a team environment, have excellent communication skills and a cooperative and positive attitude
