    About This Opportunity

    InComm would like to add a Senior Oracle Database Engineer to our team. We're looking for innovative software professionals who can work well within a highly collaborative, agile team to develop high quality, testable software. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop new software. Maintain existing software and resolve software problems and production support.  Perform individually and as part of a team. Utilize software development and software design methodologies appropriate to agile development environment. Develop, execute and document software testing, including test cases. Perform software requirement analysis.


    The ideal candidate for this position will have strong PL/SQL development experience in Oracle  environment. You will be sharp, motivated, hardworking, and well versed in enterprise reporting tools, frameworks, and best practices. Experience writing testable, scalable solutions is very important to us.



    • Designing and developing enterprise  solutions using Oracle technologies
    • Working with our product organization and business stakeholders to understand business requirements and objectives
    • Collaborating with product development teams on integrating transactional systems with enterprise reporting solutions
    • Contributing to overall enterprise reporting architecture strategy and design
    • Supporting and enhancing existing reporting solutions
    • Leading by example and setting a high standard for quality
    • Providing coaching and mentoring for junior engineers
    • Performing code and design reviews
    • Participating in an agile team and fostering collaboration and innovation across our development organization 



    • At least 5-10 years of related experience
    • Excellent relational database design and development skills
    • Experience with Oracle 11g and Microsoft SQL Server
    • Strong query performance tuning and optimization skills
    • Excellent working knowledge of data analysis concepts and processes
    • Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms
    • Experience designing and developing data warehousing solutions and ETL processes
    • Experience designing and developing multi-dimensional schemas
    • Experience developing self-service reporting solutions
    • Experience integrating, configuring, and managing BI toolsets
    • Willingness to dive into any challenge with a positive attitude; be a go-to resource for team members who need help
    • Solid coaching and communication skills
    • Excellent troubleshooting skills
    • Works well in both team and individual development environments
    • Experience with agile development practices



    • BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
    • Experience with data visualization toolsets like Splunk
    • C# and the .NET Framework (v4.5)
    • Experience working in continuous integration and continuous delivery environments
    • Experience working in a microservices architecture
    • Familiarity with design patterns and principles
    • Experience with unit testing and Test-Driven Development
