    About This Opportunity

    Are you a software engineer looking for an innovative role in ecommerce, using Angular and Java?  Do you have full stack experience?  Do you have an interest in working with a private company with over 100 global patents?  

     

    We have an immediate opportunity for an eCommerce Software Engineer with full stack experience to handle both back end and front end work.   The ideal Software Engineer will have experience in design, layout, and development of web-based user interfaces to support a variety of consumer facing products. 

     

    We are looking for software engineers with full stack experience who want to work with continuous integration, dev ops, and automation.   We need innovative software engineers who are skilled in Java, Angular, PHP, and UI.  The candidate will work directly with business, marketing, and technical teams to create cutting-edge, beautiful, and functional web applications from business requirements, wireframes, and comps using bleeding edge web technologies. The Software Engineer must be detail-oriented and possess a desire to keep up with current technological tools, techniques, and standards. Experience creating optimized web graphics, CSS, website navigation models, and accessible, cross-browser compatible web templates is a must. 

     

    This role will offer the opportunity to work with modern UI frameworks/libraries such as Angular and JQuery.  Our team of Software Engineers must be able to work well both in teams as well as independently based on the project needs .  Though not required, experience with mobile application development, mobile web-app optimization, and web analytics is preferred.

    Responsibilities

    • Support both the evolution and maintenance of existing web applications and the design and delivery of new applications
    • Designs, develops, documents, and debugs web applications
    • Deployment, configuration and documentation
    • Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle
    • Ensures software standards are met
    • Troubleshooting and correcting program errors or defects
    • Properly escalate issues to meet deadlines
    • Coordination with QA testers for end to end unit testing and post production testing

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 5+ years experience as Software Engineer in UI Web Development and full stack capabilities
    • Bachelor’s degree in CIS or MIS, or equivalent work experience 
    • Must have experience in either a Java or PHP Web Development environment
    • A strong proponent of clean, valid, maintainable and semantically correct HTML/CSS, including HTML 5 and CSS3
    • Performed mobile optimization of existing and new sites
    • In depth knowledge of cross browser and cross device compatability including W3C usability support
    • Experience of modern UI frameworks/libraries such as Angular and JQuery
    • Ideally have Spring and/or JSF experience
    • 3+ years experience as Software Engineer with skills in analysis, design, coding, unit and integration testing of business applications in an object oriented environment
    • Experience in navigating cross-functional teams
    • Effective verbal and written communications 
    • Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work with innovative solutions
    • Strong analytical skills
