About This Opportunity

This role supports the Sr. Director of Enterprise Risk Management in the execution of the ERM program with subject matter focus on third party management.

The role will be an individual contributor and subject matter expert to set up and manage InComm’s third party lifecycle and vendor risk management framework and coordinating the program across various internal stakeholder groups involved with the program execution.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and maintain the enterprise-wide third party management program, including associated policies, procedures and roles and responsibilities
  • Establish and coordinate Third Party Lifecycle Steering Committee
  • Develop risk-based criteria for evaluating third and fourth party relationships
  • Manage the execution of third party risk assessments in the various phases of relationships (new/onboarding, existing/renewal and termination)
  • Maintain an understanding of the impact of third party relationships on business operations
  • Monitor and analyze all risks associated with third parties in scope and determine overall risk profile and health of the third parties
  • Assess the impacts to the company and market perception of publicly disclosed issues (e.g. data breaches, litigation, negative press) on the company’s third party relationships.
  • Escalate issues to steering committee and/or ERM as needed
  • Support reviews of all third parties based on established criteria
  • Review and monitor third party SLAs, vendor questionnaires and other documents (e.g. SOC 1/2) reports provided by third parties
  • Coordinate reviews and assessments of high risk and critical vendor audits
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in the third-party process to execute program documentation, regulatory updates, and risk-based monitoring protocols designed to reduce risk exposure.
  • Assist in monitoring and assessment of enterprise-wide adherence to vendor management policy requirements
  • Perform third party compliance risk tracking, trending, analysis, and executive reporting
  • Lead special projects and analysis associated with third party relationships

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business, computer science or similar degree
  • MBA preferred
  • 5-7 years of experience, with vendor management or third party risk management

 

Knowledge, Skills and Capabilities

  • Comprehensive knowledge of third party lifecycle management and vendor risk management methodologies, including associated regulatory and industry guidance (OCC, FFIEC et al)
  • Strong analytical acumen with proficiency in Excel, Project Management Tools, and other MS Office suite products.
  • Ability to develop and foster relationships and promote collaborations across multiple stakeholder groups
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
