    About This Opportunity

    The QA Analyst coordinates testing activity across multiple platforms and software versions.  The role includes writing and executing test cases, cataloging and tracking defects, and responding directly to ad hoc testing needs as identified by clients.  Requires working closely with the Business and Development teams to ensure timely and stable releases of the various supported platforms.  This position shall focus primarily on testing of Fulfillment applications, both Digital and Physical, using a Java technology stack, but experience testing on a JBoss, Tomcat, Mule, as well as web application technology stacks is also desirable.

     

    InComm’s Fulfillment Delivery organization focuses on providing InComm Partner’s with turnkey solutions to delivery both Physical and Digital to their end customers. Leveraging its own cross-functional team of Business Analysts, Project Management, Architects, Development, Quality Assurance and Support resources, the Fulfillment Delivery team works with our business partners to continually enhance and customize the platform offerings. Using strong Agile methodologies and Continuous Integration/Delivery processes, the team focuses on value add activities, as well as improvements in tools and processes.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate with Project Stakeholders to write testing scripts for new releases
    • Communicate testing strategies and plans with customers and coordinate testing efforts to ensure optimal results
    • Creation of automated test scripts
    • Basic programming skills to create automated test scripts
    • Execute test plans in a timely and efficient manner
    • Exhibit ability to read business requirements and determine whether or not an application meets defined requirements
    • Report test results in a clear and concise manner
    • Research database to ensure testing integrity, escalate database issues to project management team
    • Follow testing processes and standards
    • Coordinate with Project Stakeholders to meet product deliverables and implementation schedules
    • Document all testing practices and outcomes
    • Report testing status to the appropriate manager
    • Escalate concerns, issues and risks to the appropriate stakeholders in order to meet project deadlines
    • Participate in user acceptance testing
    • Respond to scope changes from business stakeholders
    • Work with a diverse team of IT personnel
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced Agile environment

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 2-4 years QA testing experience 
    • Bachelor’s degree in CIS or MIS or equivalent experience
    • Knowledge of database technologies
    • Knowledge of QA tools including automation and load testing
    • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle
    • Experience in navigating across cross-functional teams
    • Effective verbal and written communications are critical
