    About This Opportunity

    In this role, the Technical Analyst will contribute to the planning and execution of an Enterprise Master Data Management implementation as well as other strategic initiatives as they arise.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for partnering with business analyst to gather, document, and maintain technical requirements for implementing and maintaining a global enterprise MDM solution
    • Participate in the design of the master data management system
    • Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, translate business requirements to be easily consumed and acted upon by technical teams
    • Work with technical teams to track development progress and ensure requirements are being met
    • Ability to analyze a problem, communicate the findings, identify possible options, and create documented artifacts of the overall process
    • Document use cases, interfaces and user interface design specifications
    • Develop and maintain technical data lineage documentation in support of business glossary
    • Manage reference data and translation sets
    • Work with multiple departments on ensuring accurate interpretation of business requirements and data architecture

    Qualifications

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in applicable field of study 
    • Minimum of 5 years of recent IT experience
    • Minimum of 3 years of technical analyst and/or development experience in a master data, data warehousing and analytical reporting environment
    • Experience in master data management and data integration projects 
    • Knowledge of data modeling; dimensional modeling 
    • Excellent communication skills, and ability to write clear and concise technical requirements for enterprise wide initiatives
    • Demonstrated ability to perform technical analysis for new application development projects
    • Ability to present technical concepts in business terms when eliciting, validating, and prioritizing requirements
    • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to make independent decisions
    • Solid understanding of relational databases concepts and the ability to write intermediate SQL queries
    • Self-motivated individual who has the ability to work well in a challenging, dynamic, and collaborative team environment
    • Ability to combine business acumen with technical aptitude
    • Attention to detail
    • Exposure to Data Warehouse/BI tools/SQL and related technologies 
    • Experience with large transaction processing systems a plus
