About This Opportunity

Incomm is looking to expand its team with a Software Engineer - Java Developer. This position requires the ability to implement business requirements and design specifications into working product. This position also includes adding features and functionality, support of LaunchIT application.


  • Development and Support of Launch Workflow and associated applications
  • Support design and assist in planning team sprints and projects
  • Support and maintain projects developed by the team and assist in production outages
  • Develop new features and enhancements on the platform
  • Test and certify release of code artifacts
  • 5 years of progressive Java development experience including JSE, JEE in enterprise level scalable, distributed and fault tolerant environments, JMS
  • Experience with Angular 2 development.
  • Experience with SQL and DBs such as Microsoft SQL Server
  • Good understanding of Object Oriented Programming/Design principles
  • Experience with various platforms like Windows server, Linux/Unix
  • Experience reading and writing UML (Specifically class and sequence diagrams)
  • Familiarity with open source application frameworks
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Flexibility to learn on the job and adapt to a changing environment


  • 5 years of progressive Java development experience including JSE, JEE in enterprise level scalable, distributed and fault tolerant environments, JMS
  • Experience participating in the full lifecycle of projects, including effective use of version control, build management, unit testing, and issue tracking software (ex. SVN, Maven, JIRA, Jenkins)
  • Experience in generating estimates & deliverables (E&D) based on requirements
  • Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring
  • Experience in developing Web Services (ex. RESTful or SOAP) and strong experience utilizing XML
  • Experience with prepaid Cellular / Wireless services a significant plus 
  • Experience with high volume transaction processing design and development
  • Experience developing within a Service Oriented Architecture environment
  • Experience with data modeling methodologies and master data management
  • Experience working within PCI and SAS70 environments
  • Experience with application frameworks like JSF, Spring MVC, Hibernate, Struts
  • Experience with scripting languages like Groovy, Korn shell.
  • Experience developing using Agile practices (Specifically XP, Scrum and TDD)
  • Experience with Angular2/TypeScript practices and commonly used modules based on work experience in AngularJS/JavaScript
  • Proficiency with JavaScript and HTML5
  • Experience with knowledge of CSS, LESS, Bootstrap and JS methods for providing performant visual effects
  • Must have a bachelors degree
