About This Opportunity

In this role you will be the lead accounting specialist responsible for the reconciliation of accounts receivables to the general ledger. You will get hands-on experience preparing and filing all Personal Property Tax returns. In addition to maintaining listing of all Personal Property Tax due and record accrual accordingly. You will also gain experience in other areas while assisting the accounting/finance team with projects.


Day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Reconcile accounts receivable to the general ledger weekly
  • Analyze provision for bad debt and determine bad debt expense monthly
  • All journals, analysis, balancing, and  cash reporting up to and through financial statements
  • Preparation of Personal Property Tax returns as needed.
  • Preparation and review of accurate journal entries.
  • Special projects as assigned by the Senior Accounting Managers and the VP of Finance.
  • Flexibility to assist with other accounting departments, as needed.
  • Assist with maintaining all company policies within the workplace.
  • Support recurring accounting tasks and general accounting routines.


  • 1-3 years of experience
  • 4 year Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Must exhibit professional behavior and control emotions at all times
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position. Ability to work extended hours to meet deadlines when warranted.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Must possess analytical and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgment under pressure
  • Ability to handle and keep up with constant changes to products, policies and, procedures.
