About This Opportunity

The Regional Human Resources Manager provides guidance to the APAC Leadership Team in all aspects of Human Resources. By building strong relationships with the Leadership team, he/she will become the trusted source for all HR requirements. Reporting to the Senior Director, International Human Resources, the Human Resources Manager will work directly with all levels of leadership, including senior executives and business leaders.


  • Provides leadership and management on a range of strategic HR initiatives, while gaining deep understanding of the business, employees and organizational needs
  • Partner with Corporate HR to develop strategies and initiatives designed to enhance organizational effectiveness
  • Plan and implement new/revised HR policies, programs, and services that correspond with business strategy while ensuring all activities align with overall HR goals and objectives
  • Ownership over HR Administration for InComm APAC. Ensure that required timelines are met and ensure internal customer satisfaction levels are met or exceeded
  • Lead employee engagement strategy for APAC and implement initiatives designed to enhance engagement within assigned territory
  • Provide support to the Senior Director, Human Resources with International HR projects
  • Design succession plans and support leadership development
  • Assist leaders in the preparation of development plans for key positions
  • Actively participate in business discussions and transfer best practices from different functions in the organization
  • Manage complex HR projects cross-functionally and across regions
  • Actively identify gaps, propose and implement changes necessary to mitigate risk
  • Challenge the leadership team and work to overcome obstacles
  • Work with Talent Acquisition team to develop and execute a talent strategy that attracts talent to key positions and assist leaders with internal acquisition process requirements
  • Responsible for managing employee relations activities within assigned region



  • Completion of University degree in Human Resources or related discipline
  • Knowledge of employment law for assigned regions and experience dealing with complex employee relations issues
  • High degree of professionalism and independence with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in an HR Manager/Business Partner position required
  • Strong Leadership skills and a passion for leading change
  • Client facing experience with business acumen and a strong desire for becoming more deeply involved in the business
  • Project Management skills with the ability to plan and prioritize effectively utilising the full level of resource options available to achieve own and business objectives
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently or as an active team member depending on the situation and needs
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Hands on approach
  • Experience working within a US based matrix organization
  • Ability to travel within Asia Pacific region and North America
  • Multilingual Skills: Required proficiencies with English and Cantonese, preferred proficiency with Japanese
