About This Opportunity

The Salt Lake City, UT office supports the customer care departments (call centers, fraud, billing, account management) in providing tools to research and report on various inventory and transactions to support merchants, customers etc.  There are two customer facing applications in active development requiring a full-time engineer to assist, lead and conduct the front-end development on these applications.  There are several projects in addition to these that also require front-end development in support of the two flagship applications, including ongoing bug fixing and enhancements to these applications that require this position to be filled.


  • Work together with the Product Owner(s) to develop user friendly, professional, functional and clean applications according to priority and functional requirements.
  • Assist team in planning, documenting, and executing the migration of legacy AngularJS (1) application to an Angular (4+) platform.
  • Identify, architect, and implement shared packages to reduce boilerplate and duplicate code across multiple applications.
  • Take opportunities to experience and learn new technologies and how these technologies can support the business requirements
  • Present to the team implemented requirements for team and code review
  • Learn and implement development best practices in code, documentation, communication and implementation as directed by the development manager and development leads
  • Technical design and analysis of business use cases in preparation for development.
  • Work well in Agile or Lean Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Able to quickly adjust and support changing priorities according to the business’s needs.
  • Document in code and contribute to team and project wiki spaces for delivery to platform owners and deployment personnel.
  • Provide unit testing to ensure quality builds in a continuous integration environment.
  • Support QA in automation and integration testing.



  • Must have at least 3+ years’ experience with AngularJS (+ Angular), CSS, and HTML5.  We need someone with strong front-end skills and the ability to understand and implement good design of these front-ends (i.e. usability)
    • Preferably with UX experience or familiarity
