About This Opportunity

Reporting to the SVP, Accounting, the Director, Financial Reporting will have the opportunity to assist with the implementation of improved accounting and reporting standards, process and best practices for internal reporting and all aspects of external reporting, as well as internal controls, corporate process and policies as they pertain to financial reporting. While InComm is a privately-held business, the Director, Financial Reporting will lead the Company’s financial reporting effort putting in place best practices including becoming SOX compliant and implementing best practices as if the Company was a SEC Registrant. The position will also assist in the implementation of ASC 606 and oversee other technical accounting research related to new and proposed accounting standards.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of accurate financial statements on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Standaridze mapping to GAAP Financial Statements
  • Develop standard set of reports from business units for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
  • Facililtate the Financial Reporting Close Process for the corporate team, including the design of standardized reports, review of reports, and review of financial results.
  • Coordinate, plan and execute Monthly Financial Reporting package, Quarterly Bank Financial Statement package and Financial Statements and Footnotes for Audited Financial Statements.
  • Responsible for overall aspects of internal and external financial reporting.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly and year-end financial close and reporting process.
  • Develop standard monthly and quarterly qualitative and quantitative reporting standards in conjunction with the Business Unit Controllers.
  • Develop procedures and infrastructure to ensure compliance with all US GAAP reporting requirements for future SEC reporting processes.
  • Implements a standardized reporting plan and executes the financial reporting component of the external audit.
  • Supports and assists with the internal audit function and ongoing SOX compliance requirements related to financial reporting.
  • Leads financial research efforts.
  • Guides the implementation of the appropriate accounting practice based upon conclusions reached. Also assists in the implementation of ASC 606.
  • Write, implement and ensure effective and practical implementation of corporate accounting policies.
  • Assists in recruiting, training, mentoring and evaluating staff.

Qualifications

 

 Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in accounting or finance from four year accredited college or university
  • 10 years of audit, accounting, and financial experience
  • Knowledge of SEC reporting, US GAAP and internal control processes
  • CPA Active License a plus
  • Oracle, BlackLine and Workiva experience a plus
  • Experience with international foreign currency is a plus
