About This Opportunity

We are looking for a strong .Net Engineer to join our InComm South Technology Team. The individual in this role would be responsible for the development of applications including, but not limited to, the development of prototypes, and writing and testing code. We are seeking a candidate who has proven coding skills, the ability to think critically and problem-solve, and a track-record of ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met.


Since launching in 2002, InComm Agent Solutions has created innovative and efficient payment processing solutions for more than 11,000 retail partners that want to offer their customers more. We have made this possible with our industry-leading payment processing platform that was custom designed from the ground up. Leveraging an infinitely scalable server, we manage more than 9 million transactions a month and our solutions are designed for consumers who primarily use cash. We offer bill payment options for service providers, utilities and wireless carriers.




Duties & Responsibilities:  


  • Strong understanding of Object Oriented Principles and Design Patterns is a must:
    • Implementations and usages of these principles and patterns in C# and .Net
    • Ability to model real-world problems using OOP
    • Proficient user of recent C# language features and abstractions is a big plus
    • Demonstrable proficieny of modern software testing methodologies and frameworks a plus
  • Familiarity with service oriented architectire is required, including the following:
    • Understaning the fundamentals of HTTP protocol
    • Meaningful experience with different web service approaches and their .Net implmentations
    • Web API and RESTful services is a must
    • Experience with SOAP Style, WCF services is a big plus
  • Experience with front-end and web technologies is required, including the following:
    • Understanding the capabilities and client-side manipulation of HTTP requests/responses
    • Awareness of the separation of concerns and implementation of front-end, web technologies (CSS, HTML, JS)
    • Experience with modern and/or legacy JS and UI frameworks
    • Recent experience building SPAs with Angular or other modern frameworks a plus
    • A good grasp of the concepts and implementation behind central authentication and authorization providers a plus
  • Proficient use of SQL databases:
    • Ability to write CRUD queries
    • Ability to model real world problems into entities and relationships
  • Adhere to all communicated software development standards and practices
  • Actively participate in periodic source code reviews as a recipient and as a lead
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the position
  • Respond to production outages as your highest priority and quickly resolve those problems with minimal disruption of business activities; there may be rare occasion that production outages occur outside of business hours or on weekends where you may be called to assist





  • 3+ years developing in .Net for the web, over 5 years is a plus
  • 2+ years of relevant and verifiable hands-on experience in: C#, HTML and MS SQL
  • Experience with MS Office applications and recent Microsoft operating systems
  • A degree in Information Systems or Software Engineering may substitute for a portion of the experience

  • Ability to work in a team environment, preferably in Agile SCRUM
  • Ability to keep up with emergent technologies and industry trends
  • Must be a self-starter and have the ability to learn new tools, concept and computer languages through self-learning. Programming guidance will be given by other team memvers as required
  • Must possess the ability to explain intricate and complicated concepts and ideas
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must possess the ability to work well with many different kinds of people, departments, and divisions
