    About This Opportunity

    As a Senior Software Engineer at InComm in our St. Petersburg office, you will solve interesting new problems shaping our product roadmap for the Serve platform. You will be part of an entrepreneurial team of technologists, innovators, and industry leaders responsible for delivering world-class solution capabilities and innovative payment products and services at a rapid pace while serving our customers seamlessly across physical, digital, mobile, and social media. We thrive off being challenged to identify innovative ideas and proof of concepts to deliver against the existing and future needs of the platform.


    You will be a core member of an aggressive agile team driving the latest development practices. Writing code and working with API specs and automation. Translating functional and business requirements into robust, efficient, supportable solutions that work well within the overall system architecture. Design, develop, implement and test new software applications, tools, systems and services. Participate in the full development cycle, end-to-end, from design, implementation, and testing to documentation, delivery and maintenance. Produce comprehensive, usable software documentation. Identify opportunities for adopting new technologies and mentor junior development engineers.

    Design, develop, build, and implement: 

    • Highly available, scalable and secure micro service architecture
    • C# & .NET Web Platforms / Enterprise Applications
    • Turnkey model for easy integration leveraging Restful APIs with ASP.NET WebAPI
    • Responsive Web Design and Mobile Applications

    To be successful in this role, you must: 

    • Have innovative approaches and a willingness to experiment
    • Contribute to the improvement of developer tooling and processes using DevOps and Automated pipeline
    • Perform all technical aspects of software development for assigned applications including, developing prototypes and writing new code / API's
    • Function as an active member of a Full-stack Feature Team through consistent development practices (tools, common components, and documentation)
    • Perform execution of software development lifecycle including the design, implementation, testing, delivery of product features into a production environment
    • Conduct code reviews and mentor best practices in software development
    • Debug software components, identifies, fixes and verifies remediation of code defects (own work and the work of others)
    • Analyze requirements/ user stories to appropriately support design activities
    • Work with product owners to prioritize features for ongoing sprints and manage a list of technical requirements based on industry trends, new technologies, known defects, and issues


    • Minimum 5-7 years of software development or equivalent experience; majority with Full Stack .Net development
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in computer science, computer science engineering, or related field; Advanced degree preferred
    • Demonstrated experience in Agile development, application design, software development, and testing
    • Proficient in C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, MVC, WCF, Web API
    • Expertise in objected-oriented analysis and design across a variety of platforms
    • A proven hunger to learn new technologies and translate them into working software
    • Ability to effectively communicate to internal and external business partners on solution design
